Cooperation Agreement Signed between the Gorbachev Foundation and the Governor of the Moscow Region

In March 2004, Boris V. Gromov, Governor of the Moscow Region and Mikhail S. Gorbachev, President of the Gorbachev Foundation, signed an Agreement on Cooperation.
The agreement was developed to establish a framework for cooperative efforts between the Gorbachev Foundation and the Administration of the Moscow Region to implement the Foundation’s Childhood Oncology and Gorbachev Against the Tuberculosis and AIDS programs.
Under the Agreement, the Foundation has already been providing assistance to the Children’s Section of the Moscow Regional Oncology Center, the Region’s Anti-TB Center, the Perinatal Center and correctional facilities.
